Top 7 Aggressive Chess Openings

Everyone loves an aggressive chess opening so I thought I would create a list of my top 7 aggressive openings. Enjoy.

#7 Danish Gambit 0:16
#6 Cochrane Gambit 1:28
#5 Scotch Gambit 2:51
#4 King’s Gambit 3:40
#3 Halloween Gambit 5:31
#2 Latvian Gambit 6:53
#1 Fried Liver Attack 8:00

  1. What about Alekhein defense? Passive at the start, until it's Explosive!

  2. I had fried Latvian liver on Halloween, followed by a sweet Danish whilst watching cochrane movies on the King's flat screen. For some reason, that night, all I could think of was chess.

  3. Dude we have a super similar voice. You also sound a lot like my brother. Super wierd man its like listening to myself on video.

  4. The Danish gambit is great 👍won good wins but the gambit isnt always accepted

  5. The second gambit also takes away the ability for the king to castle which is also a plus so well worth the knight

  6. Im really weak at using pawns how to get better on pawns

  7. Bishop D4 to C3 @ 0:410:42 was check so I don’t think you (white pieces) would have moved your bishop from F1 to C4 without handling your Check

  8. Watching this so one day I confidentially glare at people while smiling

  9. Excellence is not a trait; but a habit. says:

Just learned the hard way why it is called the Danish *gambit*…

  10. Hey guys, does anyone know what software/website is being used for the chess board?

  11. Why whould you open from the king pawn is weak me …

  12. Thats not the fried liver. Its just Ng5. Fried liver is when after d5, exd5 black makes the mistake to take with the Knight and white sacrifices the Knight on f7.

  13. Sir, I think I have finally found the perfect trainer for me, fan of Kings Gambit, Fried lever, some of the openings like Halloween and Cochrane Gambits I heard first time, so exciting and I am going to learn and play them, you made my day 🙂 👍

  14. Another opening I love to be playing against- Blackbourne Schilling Gambit to which I found a counter Gambit, thrilling it is 🙂😀

  15. 5:31 is most like my style 😂 can't wait to play it, maybe upload my games online

  16. Someone must’ve pointed this out but on your fried liver the king can’t move to f7.. he’d be in mate by the knight.

  17. I'm just a big heavy slugger I can only understand what's in front of me.. I see a nail I'm a hammer. It's kind of made me insecure so I don't think ahead. I wish I didn't take everything so literally. Oh well I guess I'll screw up talking about physics and sound stupid.

  18. Personally I love playing aggressive I'm not that kind of a logical thinker.

  19. Nice list. 👍🏽 However, it would be useful to show a few lines to exploit possible wrong responses of the opponent.
    For instance: 1. e4 e5 2. d4 exd4 3. c3 dxc3 4. Bc4 cxb2 5. Bxb2 Qg5 6. Nf3 Qxg2 7. Rg1 Qh3 8. Bxf7+ Kxf7 9. Ng5+ Ke8 10. Nxh3

  20. Actually, the Fried Liver opening contains aggressive lines at both sides, as black can respond with a Traxler counterattack, threatening to sacrifice their bishop at f2 and chasing the white king around: 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Bc4 Nf6 4.Ng5 Bc5!?

    One example: 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Bc4 Nf6 4.Ng5 Bc5 5.Nxf7 Bxf2+ 6.Ke2 Nd4+ 7.Kd3 b5 8.Bb3 Nxe4 9.Nxd8 Nc5+ 10.Kc3 Ne2+ 11.Qxe2 Bd4+ 12.Kb4 a5+ 13.Kxb5 Ba6+ 14.Kxa5 Bd3+ 15.Kb4 Na6+ 16.Ka4 Nb4+ 17.Kxb4 c5#

  21. I thought i invented that second chess opening (knight sacrifice on f7)

  22. I think giving away your queen sounds more aggressive, fun and exciting

  23. iF i was black i would instantly latvian or mostly halloween gambit

  24. The cockring gambit seems interesting

  25. I successfully used this tricks but after that my mind goes blank what to do
