At 7'06 the lasker trap, after promoting to a knigt black can simply take that knight with his rook. OK, but than B b4 I see, and then you don;t want a horsey there.
Meh, traps are for amateurs. Real chess players focus on strategic brilliance and outwitting opponents instead of relying on cheap tricks. Keep honing your skills, folks!
Just FYI in Legal trap two important points. Black bishop needs to be on f3 and white needs to play h3 to have a successful trap. Really, recommend you analyze why these preconditions need to happen. 🙏🏽
I'm confused in the legal trap after the white knight takes the pawn why doesnt black take with his knight,he is now threatening the white queen, and the white bishop, and has material advantage.
Blackburne Shilling Gambit:: When black queen moves to H4, then White can avoid the trap by moving his Knight to e4 and protecting to get defeated on f2; Now if black queen will take the white Knight then White can take the black Knight as white bishop is supported by their queen.
In Trap 1 the pawn move h3 is not necessary
And in the second one everybody would go for check with the bishop
In the first trap…why is the pawn to h3 necessary??

1:00 Why would Black do that? Why wouldn't they move Pawn to F6?
6:45 why wouldnt the king just take the pawn?
@thechesswebsite Black can play the Tarrasch trap in the French Defence.
In the lasker trap why not taking the pawn with the king to f2 ?
6:46 Can't the king just capture the pawn?
EDIT: nevermind: I see it now. If White does that, the queen falls.
extremely helpful and inspiring. many thanks for it.

I like the idea of misdirection, having your opponent focus on one thing and your doing something else.
Different trapping moves!

Lasker trap question: why not Rxg1 following pawn promotion to knight on g1
Very nice 🎉🎉

At 6:50 why not Bg4?
Lasker trap is the best 🤭
