πŸ”Ή Deadly Scotch Game Trap | Hyper-Aggressive Opening for White –

In this video lesson, GM Igor Smirnov shares with you the best chess opening for White to crush beginners and intermediate level opponents. It is the Scotch Game which happens after the following moves: 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.d4.

It works extremely well at the beginner level because most of the amateur players make the following opening mistake in the mainline after 3…exd4 4.Nxd4 Nxd4. More than 15 million chess players have made this opening mistake (4…Nxd4) and their average rating is 1500 ELO.

  3. Thanks master igor, could you make a video on the steinitz variation, because I have great results with it as black and if I want to play the scotch, I want to know how to fight the steinitz

  4. 1:55 seconds? How can you move the white pawn diagonally. It doesn't make sense. Are you trying to fool your viewers. Bad man.

  5. What if Black goes Qe7 after we attacked the knight with the pawn?
    Thanks anyway!

  6. check by knight, black capture it
then take the rock, king will capture it
check by another rock and mate

  7. What is Bussan delivering check to the king at 2.01?

  8. 1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Nc6 3. d4 exd4 4. Bc4 Bc5 { C44 Scotch Game: Haxo Gambit } 5. O-O a6 6. Re1 b5 7. Bd5 Bb7 8. Ng5 Nh6 9. a4 f6 10. Qh5+ g6 11. Qxh6 fxg5 12. axb5 axb5 13. Rxa8 Bxa8 14. Bxg5 Be7 15. Qg7 Rf8 16. Qxh7 Bxg5 17. Qxg6+ Rf7 18. Qxf7# 1-0

  10. Scotch is so poisonous and tricky, I always have bad times against Scotch so, Thank you for your information

  11. Kf7, black Knight captures, Rf8, black king captures and then Rd8 check mate

  12. I really appreciate your content, Igor! I started playing chess in June and have made such tremendous improvements since finding your channel!

  13. Ne7+….. Then it mates 😊

    If Kh8, then Rxf8+ mate

    If Nxe7, Rxf8+, Kxf8 then Rd8+ (mate) 😊

  14. That is a good video and really a good opening for intermediate players.

  15. Mate in 3
    Check with night
    Black night takes
    Check with rook
    King takes
    Rook d8 check mate

  16. Ne7+. If Kh8 Rxf8#. If Nxe7 Rxf8+ Kxf8 Re8#

  17. I've missed the correct continuation in quite a few puzzles where the key move eliminates an escape square for the opposing king – at least when a check is not involved. When a move seems prohibited because it appears to give your opponent a piece free of charge, ask yourself (as Sam Shankland suggests) "What if I play that move anyway?"

  18. Dude this sucks. You showed only one example but it’s very rare other players play like this. Unsubscribed.

  19. Haha total bullshit. Pawn d6 is this a scam

  20. The answer to the puzzle is 1. Ne7+ Nxe7 2. Rxf8+ Kxf8 3. Rd8 mate.

  21. Puzzle solution: Ne7 check, knight takes knight, then Rook takes rook on f8 check, forces the king to move forward to f8, then rook to d8 checkmate

  22. Ke7 check. Black knight captures Kxe7. Rd8

  23. If Bishop to C5 – what do? Where's that video
