⭐️ Follow Me If You Are Amazing:

  1. AMAZING how many players that are at 600 know the PERFECT defense for this… absolutely amazing..

  2. I have used this gambit without knowing that it was a gambit for two weeks

  3. I now know what I want to play against the scandi. I face it so infrequently that a transposition back to french or caro kann would be welcome. Hell even the gambit is preferable.

  4. Yo hold up did he miss mate in 3 at 12:17 or am I missing something

  5. The bmd gambit is a great fun opening, I score much better with white thanks to this opening ..

  6. I took with queen mated at move 9 with 100% accuracy.

    1. d4 d5 2. e4 dxe4 3. Nc3 Nf6 4. f3 exf3 5. Qxf3 Qxd4 6. Be3 Qb4 7. O-O-O Bg4

    8. Nb5 Bxf3 9. Nxc7# 1-0

  7. Nice video, but you had to play with stronger players …

  8. at 04:25 the best move is always pin the knight after nf6 its an easy win u dont take if pawn comes after you back up after the pin u want to put your dark bishop on f4 it all depends on their next moves which way u go bottm line pin the knight asap

  9. This is the opening that got me to 1500. Thanks!

  10. At 8:51 isn't it better to pin the knight with the bishop and then push the pawn?

  11. Very effective……but what if they use the queen?

  12. Fun fact: The Scandinavian defense can also be transposed to blackmar diemer – e4 d5 , d4 dxe4

  13. If you are an e4 player, you can transpose Scandinavian defense to this by 1. e4 d5 2. d4 …, which I really like and play.

  14. Everytime I've looked at Levy's videos about a specific gambit, I won a game right after with it. First Tenisson gambit the ICBM variation, then the Vienna, and now Blackmar-Diemer.

  15. Wow I’m so glad I found your channel bro! Great teaching. I play exclusively the Blackmar-Deimer gambit and a lot of times I get into the Ryder gambit online. Super aggressive and wins alotta games

  16. Ah yes when I open with my Blackmar-Diemer gambit and my opponent attempts to play a kings indian i should answer with a Joe bava London. Mmm yes yes makes sense makes sense

  17. Not sure it's free Elo but it certainly is freedom from the boredom of the Ruy Lopez. Glad I watched that video once again.

  18. Did levy miss the other force checkmate at 12:15 with
where now black had 0 moves out of that combination

  19. Show halosar trap Gotham sir it would be a very good tip for us..

  20. Literally one of the best gambits there is…

  21. Played this against a certain someone and got 96% accuracy on lichess when I loaded up the computer analysis. Not sure what happened, but the opponent refused to take my knight on g6

  22. You can absolutely give up the pawn on D4 because that leads to the halosar trap and it's absolutely crushing trust me

  23. I do this without even knowing its called a freaking gambit.

  24. sooo mad he didn't move the bishop to discover check the king and attack the queen vs ronnie

  25. 2:30, "Again, I think you'll have significantly more fun if you go long" ☠☠☠☠☠☠☠☠☠☠☠☠☠☠☠☠☠☠☠☠☠☠☠

  26. someguy just played this against me and I won without even knowing this gambit existed🗿 but that's probably because I'm 700 lmao

  27. You're the one that taught people this opening…. idk why people play this but your right it truly is free elo, for me.

  28. I dont.even need to watch the rest of this video. This is basically go to opener. I have used this so much I know everything that can and most likely will happen . Sometimes someone does something unexpected and gets themselves mated early as heck hahaha. I dig the queen side castle because it's auto attack battery to punish someone who os acting extra silly
But now I know what it's called and I cam sound fancy
I was calling it.the chicken noodle soup because that's what I was eating when I started using it lol

  29. Wow he didn't sac the knight for.the queen??????? I have that chance knight. Thank you for your service but . . . Your last mission is a kamikaze mission. You will definitely not make it back but you will be remembered forever by your king and be survived by your bishop wife and little pawn baby boy. We will make sure as he progresses through the ranks that he is promoted to knight just like his daddy was.
My rule of thumb is normally……F*** your queen. Unless I have mate regardless lol

  30. I actually accidentally found this by myself while playing at 900 to 1000 elo now im 1200 and i always play this opening

  31. I might be wrong but wasn't at 19:07, you could mate with the queen?

  32. thanks, this gambit got me from 500 elo to 501 elo.
    Absolutely recommend

  33. My friend at work never takes any gambit. 😆 he hit me with the beyers. You didn't bring that one up

  34. With this gambit, I will finally beat Magnum Carlen.

  35. If you just want some quick traps, I have investigated with 2. d5. Computer hates it, but my opponents do too
