  1. How does it feel to be pinned by Eric ??

  2. New as a consistent viewer thank you for your content

  3. Thank you Mr. Eric for blessing us with more great chess content. I will watch the video and then reply here with a Timestamp of my favorite game.

  4. I'm only 1 game in and I can't imagine any game topping the King's Head opening…

  5. Congratulations! I witness your postion ranking going up, was cool! it is super hard to analize the games to make a video about it, i was in the chat it was going wild!

  6. well in german we differ between verbs and nouns. if u mean the verb love – its "lieben" but only infinitive. this verb changes a bit according the subject it uses the verb. for example u love means "du liebst" or "ihr liebt". its because there are some differences between your you and our you. in germany you could be translated with "du" or "ihr / euch". actually in english there is no "du". if u mean the noun love means "liebe" in german.

  7. "There's almost an idea where I take everything… I don't know." These are chess words I can live by.

  8. Holy shit I feel like I played almost the exact line of the Stafford that you did in the first game. I have a Lichess account and play logged in but I only play unrated games. Is there a way for me to look up the game?

  9. Ok, I'm sure the answer is something simple but I still haven't figured it out. What do those numbers mean, next to the players, that are visible after you finish a game and list the current tourney standings?

I figured out a zero is a loss and the positive numbers are wins… and I see the wins are from 1s to 5s, I think, with different colors. But what exactly do the 1s through 5s mean signify and why the different colors?

Thanks in advance for any replies.

  10. just when I thought I wouldn't be watching your videos to fall asleep too! thank you for the great content, love the chill vibes

  11. 38:34 Eric says e4 can't be played, but seems it is good for black. What am I missing? help please!

  12. Concerning e4 mentioned previously… Never mind, I see it… doh!

  13. 7:54 The guy who sent this TTS sounds like he's on some crazy mission 😭

  14. mastering "premove" is fundamental for 3:0 tempo

  15. My YouTube app is only used for Eric Rosen videos

  16. "how do you say love in German?" The Germans do not have a word for the feel of love as we know it. The word describing maternal love is literally translated kinderwurst or in English: kid meat since Germans are fond of their sausage. kaplah!

  17. Hey Eric don’t know if you’ll see this but I know people use your videos to fall asleep, and I’m one of those people. But it’s a bit different since I’ve been struggling with tinnitus for the past 5 months which is ringing in the ears. This has been an issue I’ve been plagued with when trying to sleep. However your videos have enough stimulation in the mind and talking where it distracts me from it. Been one of the only things that does weirdly enough. And been getting into chess a ton lately so the vids interest me a lot. Just wanted to put my thanks here and lyk to keep up the gud wrk

  18. Some of the best chess I've seen you play in sometime.

  19. Most chess content creators:
welcomes you in, gives you tea and a scone, tells you a good story, you're home before dark

    Eric Rosen:
slides open the eyehole "I know why you're here" and you step in to see him spin open the wheel on a giant vault door
"I hope you cleared your calendar"

  20. I just watched 3 wonderful games in a row the last of which ended with P to f2 checkmate! Amazing! [smile] Btw… Isn't that a Rosen trophy? [lol &a grin]

  21. 1:07:42 Black may have had the interesting tactic 11…Bg4!? since after 12.hg hg the Rh1 is hanging.
