  1. I'm noob didn't really know what I was doing. Just recently learned about openings. I recognized black doing the same starting piece for french technique. So I used this technique. Gave me really strong center.

  2. 1 e4 c5 2 b3 Nc6 3 Bb2 d6 4 Bb5 Bd7 5 f4 Nf6 6 Nc3 e6 7 Nf3 Be8 0-0 0-0 9 Bxc6 Bxc6 =
What does do is pull black out of Najdorf and Dragon Variation. Develop well and the is little danger.

  3. Brilliant loved that video…I'm devouring your content every day!

  4. At minute 11:47 you said the queen is trapped why can't she go to b2?

  5. @2:20 Isn't it safer to play c3 first and then d4 ? My opponent just played Qa5+ after d4… then c3 a2 / Nbd2 Qxc3 / Rxa2 …? Probably Qc7 to save his queen.

  6. when playing against the Sicilian, what are the pros and cons of playing Smith Morra Gambit compared to Wing Gambit? Which gambit is more successful at an intermediate 1500 level? And why?

  7. “Don’t use stockfish during the game”
Hans Noman mustn’t be a Gotham Chess viewer.

  8. Hey everybody, this is Wings. Look listen, I am fed up with these bishops scoping me from the corners. Big ups. I'm not just camping in the center of the board, I just use my pawns to solidify my position THERE'S A DIFFERENCE.

  9. I'm not so sure about playing the Wing Gambit against the Sicilian if Black's second move is d5. Letting the d pawn capture your e pawn and pressure your knight just doesn't feel like a good idea.

  10. I always thought you offer the pawn on c3 taking with knight…

  11. Wtf someone just destroyed me with this in the blessed year of 2023 – I had never seen it before

  12. Im 2200 elo player, who plays all kinds of winggambit since over 10 years. I score against french about 80/90 procent with it. Regularly against 2100-2450 rated opponents. But i recommend to play after 1.e4 e6 2.Nf3 d5 3.e5 c5 4.b4 cb to play 5.d4 instead of a3, and then after 5…Nc6 6.a3. The reason is, that after 5.a3 black can play 5…d4. To avoid this, 5.d4 is the better move

  13. My guy, question about the video at 9:32 …. What if they take with the knight instead of the pawn?

  14. Levi, in the Sicilian Wing, what if black plays 3)… Nxb4?

  15. i come here because Jacob from guess the elo. and i am not even play it

  16. Wait, noob question. Why not Qb2 at 11:44? The Queen is then not under immediate threat and attacks both Bishop and Rook? Also if then Rb2 the Queen can repeat or fuck off to f6 right? I guess you can check with the Knight in response to Qb2 and then bring the Knight to d3 to protect the bishop… but then still the Queen gets out to f6? What am I missing here?

  17. Play the mengarini gambit better than the wing gambit

  18. my biggest rival in chess plays the french defence and is amazing at endgames, thank you for the edge giving me a win

  19. great video. i would be curious what are the differences between 1400 1500 1600 players thx

  20. Black will normally play D5
    my opponent immediately plays F6.
    Me 🤨

  21. After knight C6 in the Sicilian, what happens if they want to keep their pawn controlling the center and they take your B4 pawn with the knight? What’s the best way to continue then?

  22. Excellent explanation. I love your delivery. It’s fun to listen to an analytical topic. Presentation is everything – you prove it over and over again.

  23. wow its a very very crazy opening

  24. What to do in the Nc6 Sicilian where after b4 black plays Nxb4?

  25. But when the qween is trapped it has b2

  26. Tried it out on Christian Pulisic Bot and got the dub first try 😳 even blundered my Queen! That’s how good this opening is!

Or maybe it’s just the bots..

  27. In the Sicilian defence, during the trap with the knight sacrifice, after we move our pawn to d5, why can't the knight move to the a5 square?

  28. I once managed to execute one of the traxler lines in the real game from the beginning to mate (the line where they don't accept the sacrificed bishop, but accept the knight sacrifice)
